Devonn worked in the restaurant industry and was running into the issue of having to buy new sneakers every 2-3 months due to heavy use in the kitchen.
He found it difficult to find a sneaker-cleaning service in his area so he took it upon himself to officially launch one in September 2019.

Sneaker cleaning services sound like they live within the finer luxuries Drake raps about.
As a result, the vast majority of people are left to their own concoctions to clean and maintain their sneakers, resorting to baking soda, toothpaste, and other remedies for care.
The challenge is connecting luxury to new, self-sufficient customers that don’t see the significant benefit of Sneakky Klean’s services.

Challenge: Professional sneaker care is seen as an unnecessary expense for people with $$$ to blow, not a sneaker care necessity. But, sneaker care is more about protecting and preserving your footwear than it is about luxury.
